This contribution is focused on a consideration and an assessment of the influence of social environment towards the preschool child’s development and the level of its expected completion development according to criteria for school readiness. The theoretical analysis is based on factors of mental human development, environmental influence and stages of the process of socialization, impacts of negative influences of social environment, description of preschool age from the developmental psychology aspect and the issue of preschool readiness. The subject of an investigation is to consider and assess the influence of social environment where the child is grown up, its personality formation, and the quality of its development. The selective group was made of children at the age 5-7, who come from a different family backgrounds, though attend the same preschool. This research survey is qualitative with the use of a method of observation, a questionnaire for parents of children, finding tests of preschool readiness, and family drawings and drawings of spellbound families. All of the information obtained have been compiled in details and subsequently evaluated in individual casuistries. As a part of this work, there are also answers for established research questions and evaluation of research investigation.
